I am so privileged to be part of the Board of the Amy Helpenstell Foundation. Amy was brilliant, funny, caring and a savvy businesswoman. She was the CEO of A.D. Huesing Company before she passed in 2003.
Amy was my best friend and she will always be greatly missed by our Quad-Cities community and all those that loved her. Amy lives on in the legacy that she made sure would continue after her death.
Every year, the important work of area non-profits is able to continue through Amy’s philanthropic planning. The board bestows funds in the areas of Youth Development, Health, Community Development, Education and Arts & Culture.
Our Grant Reception was recently held and we were proud to award over $ 500,000.00 to worthy organizations in the Quad-Cities region. I celebrate Amy and her overwhelming generosity!
