Who We Are

Heidi Huiskamp Collins has over 40 years of investment experience and is a Quad-Cities community leader.

I’m a Quad-Cities girl. I grew up in Rock Island and graduated from Augustana College, with honors, with a B.A. in Business Administration and a minor in Economics. After graduation, I re-located to the Chicagoland area where I went to work for a large bank. I later moved to the San Francisco Bay area where I went to worked for a nationwide financial firm. I moved my family back to the Quad-Cities in the early 1990s to raise my children and returned to work at Blackhawk Bank & Trust where I had worked summers and school breaks as both a high school and college student.

In 2005, I earned my Series 7 and Series 66 securities licenses and started the Wealth Management Division at Blackhawk Bank where I served as a financial advisor and Manager of the Trust and Investment Departments. 2006 was the year I finished my masters degree at the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin/Madison where I was Valedictorian and President of my class. In May 2017 I started Huiskamp Collins Investments, LLC. I am thrilled to be able to provide a different kind of financial advisory relationship to my clients and would love to be your next financial advisor!

Our Clients Are Like Family

We love our clients and never take for granted the trust they place in us. What does that look like? It’s meeting with our customers after hours and on weekends to accommodate their busy lives. It’s visiting clients in the hospital and stopping by the assisted living facility to share a cup of coffee and a chat. We truly care and it shows!
