I was so humbled to be recognized during the November 3rd YWCA event, “100 Years, 100 Honored” which honored Dr. Jill Biden and 100 Influential Citizens of the Quad-Cities Community.
Meeting Dr. Biden one-on-one and getting the opportunity to snap a picture with her to commemorate the event will always be a “once-in-a-lifetime” experience! She is truly a role model: educator, advocate, political spouse and military mom.
In the divisive times in which we live, it was so encouraging to come together as a community and celebrate our hard work and successes. I am proud to call the Quad-Cities home!
